Rare Coca Cola Trexi Collectible Rex Blastin'- Singapore Launch

- Play Imaginative today announced the official worldwide launch of Trexi Series 01, a collection of designer toys, as well as its urban vinyl magazine 'PlayTimes' in over 20 countries worldwide. It also announced that it is collaborating with Official Partner, F&N Coca-Cola (Singapore) Pte Ltd and co-partners, Singapore Tourism Board and local streetwear fashion label Flesh Imp, through a series of exclusive local promotions. In addition, Play Imaginative has also roped in international designer, Gary Baseman for Trexi Series 01.

Conceptualised and produced by homegrown toy company Play Imaginative, Trexi is a 3-inch tall action figure with a rotating head and articulated limbs, and is the first-of-its-kind canvas toy designed to be personalised in a range of styles by different artists and designers.

"In terms of design, Trexi embodies a variety of boundless possibilities with its customized personalities," said Mr Darren Gan, creative director & partner of Play Imaginative. "Apart from its role as a showcase for exclusive design concepts, Trexi can also be adopted as a unique branding and marketing vehicle for companies looking for an 'out-of-the-box' promotional medium." he noted.



Coke introduces - Captain Rad Blastin' and Corporal Rex Blastin'

As Play Imaginative's Official partner, Coca-Cola is pleased to unveil Rad Blastin' and Rex Blastin', two exclusive designs of Coca-Cola Trexi, at the Coke Red Lounge at Level 5, Cathay Orchard Cineleisure. The showcase will exhibit the entire Trexi Series 01 from 15 April to 15 May.

Rad Blastin' and Rex Blastin' are not part of the main Trexi Series 01 range comprising 15 designs, but part of the special Mystery Design range of 4 special designs set apart for their uniqueness and superior design.

Darren Gan, designer of the Rad Blastin' and Rex Blastin' figures, conceived the figure based on the type of character that represents all the ideals of The Coca-Cola Company. "He is a character based on being fun, hip, and a free spirit. All the enduring values, I feel, The Coca-Cola Company stands for and represents in the minds of its many consumers and fans," he added.

June Kong, spokesperson for F&N Coca-Cola (Singapore) said, "It’s great to see the ideals of Coca-Cola translated into this medium. The fun element, passion and creativity of Trexi are qualities that Coca-Cola can identify with."
