Special edition tourist souvenir ticket issued in 1998 by SMRT to promote Spice World the Movie. I don't think many tourists got to buy these tickets as they were quite popular with the local collectors lol. I do hope that someday we can have nice movie designs on our ex-link cards, the present designs are just plain ugly.

Star Wars Episode1 MRT Tickets
Limited edition travel cards issued by the SMRT (Singapore Mass Rapid Transit) to promote the Stars Wars Episode 1 movie. Shown here are 2 designs featuring Darth Maul and Queen Amidala. The reverse of the cards show information for the character and the printing is beautiful. If you are a Star Wars fan in Singapore, you would probably own these cards as well.
Golden Village Radiocard
Kill Bill Movie Cards - Golden Village Loyalty Program
A set of attractive movie collectible cards by local cinema chain Golden Village for the Kill Bill vol 1 & vol 2 movies. They are limited edition designs and were available at the box-office for only a short period. They are actually called Radiocards and served a purpose. You could get cheaper movie tickets if you flashed these cards at the box-office. There were also promotions, discounts and privileges for card holders. I'm not sure why, but Golden Village decided to stop issuing these movie cards. I think these designs could possibly be the last cards issued by the movie chain. More information on Golden Village Radiocards later.Promotional watch for Hulk movie

Stealth Movie Dog-Tag
Dog-tag with chain (also functions as can-opener LOL) promoting the 2005 movie Stealth, about a state of the art computerized-driven stealth bomber developed by the US Navy. The computer develops a mind of its own and its the humans who are charged with stopping it before it incites a war. Fast paced action movie with nice combat sequences, a little bit far fetched at times though.Spice Girls: Spice World The Movie postcards
Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown
The sixth design shows the common reverse for all the 5 postcards. The promotional postcards were jointly issued by the Cathay Organisation and Golden Village for the Spice Girls' new movie Spice World The Movie which opened on 27 Jan 1998 in Singapore. I did not catch that movie but I still love some of the songs from this UK group like Wannabe, Viva Forever and 2 become 1. BTW I think Emma is the cutest :-D

Stickers sheet promoting and I hate you so Movie
A glossy stickers sheet from Golden Harvest to promote the year 2000 romantic comedy And I hate you so starring Aaron Kwok and Kelly Chen. Its a run-of-the-mill type of movie where the two leads start off on a bad note but eventually fall in love. No surprises here.
FM Radio Headset - Entrapment movie
This is a FM Radio Headset from TCF to promote the 1999 movie Entrapment. The movie starred a very babelicious Catherine Zeta-Jones as an insurance agency investigator out to capture an art thief played by Sean Connery. Dont really remember much about the movie except one particular scene. Catherine twisted and turned her lithe body to avoid detection from sweeping infra-red sensors. That was so beautiful and made the movie memorable. Thank God for female cat burglars! The Mask of Zorro water flask
Another cool item to promote the 2005 movie : The Mask of Zorro in 2005. This is a water flask that can hold about 300ml of fluid. Does not seem like its meant to hold hot water though as the interior lining is plastic.

This 2001 movie stars Heath Ledger in the role of a peasant squire. He aspires to be a knight and takes over the identity of his master when he dies suddenly, jousting in tournaments for a living. It is a tale of love and honour, how seemingly unsurmountable odds can be overcome and dreams can come true. In the end, he not only wins the love of a Princess but also gets his Knighthood. Very nice movie.

Champagne Glass from Sabrina movie

This is one of my favorite - champagne glass promoting the 1995 romantic comedy Sabrina. There is a sad story here, I used to own a pair of identical glasses. Unfortunately one was accidentally broken when I proudly showed them to visiting friends. So now I only have one. The glasss is half-empty for me. That's sad, very sad.
Aluminium Disk holder from Fantastic 4 movie
It is really uncool in these days of 1TB portable HDD and multi-gb thumb drives to be caught carrying a pouch full of dvds/ cds. If you absolutely have to carry your prized disks (and be seen doing it), there is no better choice than this great looking disk holder from the Fantastic 4 movie. This item was given out by TCF to promote the first Fantastic 4 movie in 2005. There are 12 sleeves inside, good to hold 24 disks.

The Mask of Zorro Postcards
Official postcards promoting the 1998 movie The Mask of Zorro. There are 2 designs. one with the silhouette of Zorro on the left , the other with the trademark Zorro logo on the right. The design in the middle is common for the 2 postcards. I really liked the Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones pairng for the movie. She looked absolutely ravishing in the movie. Just writing this blog makes me want to watch the movie again haha.
