The Saint Movie Collectible Pin

Before we had The Bourne Identity, we had The Saint.  This movie screened in 1997 with Val Kilmer as the lead. A master of disguise like Jason Bourne, the talented protagonist Simon Templar is also one of the world's most successful master thieves. On the last heist before his retirement from the world of crime, things start going wrong for the thief.  He falls in love with the scientist he is supposed to steal a secret formula from and also gets embroiled an assassination plot to overthrow the Russian Premier.  The action is intense and the tempo fast-paced.  I like this movie.  I also like the movie pin......

Planet Hollywood Singapore Collectible Pin

All that is left for me to remember the Planet Hollywood outlet in Singapore are the items I managed to purchase from the souvenir store before it closed down, like this collectible metal pin exclusive to Singapore.  I used to have a nice Planet Hollywood Singapore t-shirt but unfortunately it has already left for the recycling plant a few years ago.

The Birdcage Movie Collectible Pin

An exquisitely made movie pin promoting the 1996 movie The Birdcage starring Robin Williams.  He plays a gay cabaret owner with a drag queen companion.  Problems arise when Williams' son announces that he is inviting his fiance and her parents home for a visit.  The future-in-laws are ultra-conversative and our man must convince them that he is as uptight as they are.   Comedic situations as the gay couple's attempts to hide behind a false front fail miserably.
