Spy Kids 2 Movie Notebook

This movie notebook is a large A4 size and promotional item for the Spy Kids2: Island of Lost Dreams. The notebook cover is a reflective silver that captures the light and shines brightly, perhaps to match the futuristic theme of the movie, what with all the new-fangled spy gadgets and toys.  In the hands of a spy(kid), I'm  sure this notebook wouldn't look out of place at all.
Anyhow, this notebook is way nicer than my Spy Kids2 Movie folder.

Fantastic Four Movie Notebook

Another promotional item for the Fantastic Four movie is this fantastic looking notebook featuring the characters from the movie. By the way this notebook was printed by Samsung as a movie tie-in and to create awareness and visibility for their brand. This clearly reflects the confidence of the Korean electronics giant in the undeniable appeal of the Fantastic Four to keep the cash registers in their stores ringing merrily.

You've Got Mail Movie Post-it-Pad

A post-it pad from the 1998 sweet romantic comedy You've Got Mail with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan as the male and female leads who are bitter business rivals who can't stand the sight of each other but are unknowingly attracted to each other corresponding annonymously through email on the internet.  Our two leads are very comfortable in their roles in this light-hearted comedy and if you've also watched the classic Sleepless in Seattle, you can't help drawing comparisons between the two movies. I think the main theme in these 2 movies is simply that love works in mysterious ways. Sometimes you may find it where you least expected it. I can't decide which movie is better because I like them both.  If you're a  movie fan of this genre, I'm sure you share my opinion too.

The Four Feathers Movie Notebook

I guess those guys and gals in the A&P Dept finally got sick and tired of the usual run-of-the-mill promotional movie notebooks. So during brainstorming, some bright spark suggested something different. Different but not too different. In the end they stuck with the notebook, only this time the notebook is made thicker to look like a book with a canvass cover to boot. They probably thought of it then as an elegant or even clever design for the movie set in 1884.
The truth is that the notebook doesn't look great at all. I'm wondering why not just save the trouble and give out FOUR FEATHERS instead, that would mean saving a bundle on the advertising costs and look a lot more presentable. Think about it, four feathers to promote The Four Feathers movie. I will gladly take those feathers but oh please make sure they're packed in a really nice box thank you.
